Cookie Policy

This policy explains what Hespera stores on your device when you use hespera.ai, app.hespera.ai and the storefronts that our clients run on Hespera, and why. It supplements our Privacy Policy.
1. In short
1.1. We store only what the product needs in order to work, or what remembers a choice you made. We use no analytics cookies, no advertising cookies and no social-media pixels, and nothing on our pages follows you across other websites.
1.2. Our fonts are served from our own servers, so opening our pages does not send your address to a font provider.
2. Cookies we set
2.1. Needed for the product to work. These are set without asking, because the product cannot work without them.

2.2. Remembering your choices. These store a setting you chose yourself.

2.3. Invitations. When you follow an invitation link from a partner or from another client, two cookies remember who invited you, so that the person who invited you can be credited if you open an account. They are set only when you follow such a link, hold nothing but the invitation code and its source, and are not used for anything else.

3. Other storage in your browser
3.1. Some settings are kept in your browser's local storage rather than in cookies: your preferences in the editors, recently used fonts, a signature you chose to save, and the handover of a project between the photo and video editors. On a storefront, local storage keeps the contents of your cart and remembers that you closed a pop-up.
3.2. This information stays on your device. It is not sent to us or to anyone else unless you use the function it belongs to, and it is not used to track you.
4. Pages run by others
4.1. When you pay, you are taken to the page of the payment provider — Stripe for Hespera subscriptions, or the provider chosen by the business whose storefront you are buying from. That page is run by the provider and uses its own cookies under its own policy.
5. Optional cookies
5.1. We do not currently use analytics or advertising cookies, and we therefore do not show a consent banner.
5.2. If we add analytics or advertising measurement, we will ask first. Nothing optional will load until you agree, refusing will cost you nothing, and you will be able to change your mind at any time from the link at the bottom of our pages. We will update this policy before that happens.
6. Controlling cookies
6.1. You can delete cookies and local storage, or block them, in your browser settings. If you block the cookies in Article 2.1, you will not be able to stay signed in.
7. Changes and contact
7.1. We update this policy whenever what we store changes, and change the date at the top.
